Apostrophe'''s when did the rot set in - Thread
Discussion
I think that this thread has passed its use by date. It started out as a mildly amusing commentary on barely literate sign-writing and similar, but has evolved into a smug belittling vehicle for forum bullies.
In 2020, is it really appropriate to host a thread whose only purpose is to allow some members to feel better about themselves by mocking other members in a thread which belittles their level of literacy?
As a compromise, maybe a 'Vol.2' thread with a little guidance to steer it back on track.
Seeing as it is about grammatical correctness, perhaps the missing question mark can be added to the Vol.2 thread? You know, because grammar matters.

I don't see anything wrong with the thread. It's a bit of fun for people who use apostrophes correctly. Have there been any occasions when posters whose quotes appear on there have actually been bullied over it?
Surely not everything in 2020 needs to be held to some new invented standard where we can't possibly have anything where someone, somewhere might get their feelings hurt.
