Why was my wheels thread deleted?

I posted a thread this morning asking for advice on the price of secondhand Mercedes wheels since I've been offered some, asked to make an offer for them, and haven't the first idea what they might be worth.

The thread has completely disappeared. Not moved, gone.

Could anyone please explain why..?

You will have an email explaining why the thread was deleted.

At a guess, it contravened rule 17c
