There are few threads where the Username has become Anonymous-User. I don't know if this a single person who has exercised their right to anonymity or several, but there is particular thread that I know who the OP was and his posts are now this way. Unless they are quoted, where the orginal user name appears.

Pistonheads may not be delivering on the request (if that indeed was the request made), which might be a concern to them especially bearing in mind the profession if I have the right person

Yes anonymous user is applied when anyone wants to exercise their right to erasure, so it is not one single person. We outline our process to the member upon receiving their request, which we then confirm with them that they want to go ahead with before we anonymise their posts.

Understood, but seems a little pointless when the posters username still appears when they are quoted.
