Car History blog formatting

I use the car history blog feature to keep tabs on what is spent on my TVR but all costs show as $ rather than £. Is there any way this can be changed? I appreciated PH is a worldwide site, but it is predominantly UK based (at a guess).
Also, any chance the HTML formatting can be sorted to remove the extraneous <br/> when viewing the blog history and also to allow characters such as £ to be used in the notes field.

Thanks for raising the issue. We are aware of the, uh, quirks of that page and we do plan to revamp the whole My Garage experience in the future but I can't say when that will happen.

Just coming here to post about that.
Having just added to My Garage the paragraph formatting gives <br/> everytime, which is odd!
