Links not clicking through on desktop

As the title, on iPhone it's no problem but on an up to date MacBook links from the forum won't open up new pages.

Can you tell us which link?

My hunch is a browser extension you have on your desktop computer.

Not sure what a browser extension is but perusing other forums I'm a member of there's no such problems.

All the links work for me on desktop.

And I run uBlock etc. etc. - I also have some pretty tight DNS blocking in place.

I'm running Chrome on Windows 10.

I have a similar issue. Started today. Can access the site on my phone but tried two browsers on macbook and get 403,error. Phone snd macbook on the same wifi network.


ETA doh it was my VPN.

I just use Safari on my MacBook, although it's fine using Safari on my iPhone. It is every link on every thread as far as I can see.

Yes, but I would like to isolate the problem (i.e. - is it just happening on Safari for you?).

If you can try another browser on your desktop and the links work then that would mean it is something in your Safari settings rather than an issue on the website or your computer.

installed duckduckgo and it's not problem-so just happening with safari on my MacBook
