Just seen this advert on PH. I've never had car finance so it must be a scam or factually incorrect.

Can you exercise some control over who advertises or the advertising standards?

Thanks.

It's obviously an ambulance chasing firm hoping to profit from the car finance situation, but they have worded the advert very specifically to be misleading enough to hook in some punters, whilst still remaining factually correct.

The fact that you have been hooked, suggest that their approach seems to work with some people.

Why not? Similar advertising appears on many websites, all over the internet.

Because it is mis-leading and annoying and I expect advertisers to have some basic standards.

And for some reason I expect PH to have a reasonable standard for the quality of adverts they accept.

Just my opinion. If others think adverts like that are acceptable that's there choice. I don't.
