How did PH know my car was sold? (Weird Question)

Hey there,

I advertised my car on the weekend and sold the car last night.
I came on here today to say it was sold, but the advert already says Sold. How is this? and how did they know?

And finally a big thanks to PH for selling my car so quick!

Hi Renault

Often when people buy cars on our site they ask us to mark the advert as sold, and if it looks credible we do that and send the seller a message to make sure that we've done the right thing. Your buyer informed us and we marked the ad as sold - you will have an email from us, possibly filtered into your spam/junk folder, asking you if the car is indeed sold.

Great to see how quickly you got that sold - the market is very bouyant at the moment, and lots of ads I'm seeing submitted here are being marked as sold within days!

Thanks for the reply so quickly.

I checked the advert on the Thursday morning and it was still up, so it must of been the buyer, but ive checked my email account and have had no message so dont know whats happened to that.
