That new 'rate the car' thing in the road tests

How's that work then?

I see that once you've 'rated' it gives an average score. Will you have a good---poor list? End of year countdown?

It also says that scores will be visible in our profiles if we vote, but I haven't seen any yet.

It's just a bit of fun so that both you and us can see what the PH masses think of a car we have tested, but an end of year round-up or a good to poor list are both very nice ideas.

There will be a new tab appearing on your profiles soon which will show how you have rated the cars, and at the same time the rater will appear at the bottom of the stories when viewed via the forums.

I reckon all-time top/bottom lists are a good idea for a bit of fun, as are the yearly best-ofs. Good luck with it, I'll certainly be voting!

I've just been able to rate that fantastic Singer 911 as 11 out of 10...

I was trying to rate it '10'and my sausage fingers made the bar go too far to the right - I clidked on vote or submit or whatever it says and it came up that I'd voted 11/10.

Only just noticed this and I like it. The 'rev counters' graphic is very good!

One point, in the PH O'meter box, where you put your rating in, the link "if you have one!" just links back to the article.
The way it's worded I assumed it would link to my profile to show my ratings.
Hope I'm not being thick.

It will link to your profile, but I haven't quite finished building that bit yet!
