Cats and dogs

Hello,

Now that most of the kerfuffle has died down about adding new sub-forums (fora?) I hope this won't drag it all up again, but do you think it would be an idea to have a separate area for discussion of pets? Apologies if this has been raised before of course.

I'm not anti-animals by any stretch, but there often seems to be a load of threads running in The Lounge asking about vets bills, mating habits and the Keith Lard-pleasing "Show us your dogs picture thread".

As there seems to be such a weight of interest in it I'd have thought it could stand up as a sub-forum in its own right.

What do you reckon - am I barking up the wrong tree, is it wuff justice for the pet owners or should we not allow dog hair on The Lounge carpet?

It has been raised before and I think there are quite a few people who would like it but unfortunately we are flat out here at the moment, so it is on the list to be looked soon.
