Layout at higher resolutions

Just got a new 24" monitor and the layout is very wide with large spaces between columns

Anything I can adjust ?

What were you expecting, exactly?

Turn your bookmarks column on so it appears on the left, makes the screen less wide.

I put my taskbar on the left as well, works very well on widescreens.

Aside from that you could try zooming in by holding down Ctrl and moving the mouse wheel (or pressing + ). This should make everything bigger and use up some excess space.

Or do what I am doing, as said above run the Firefox window smaller and have the Windows Media Center running Sky Sports SA vs Eng Cricket on the right, or any other app, you're running Win7 as well so you can easily run Firefox and your email client using the snap function to have both using equal amounts of the screen.

Have moved the taskbar and bookmarks which works well.

PH still looks a little bizarre compared to some other forums though

The other thing to try is switching to "Big Blue" in your preferences ( http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/prefs.asp?h=0 ), it won't cure the wide columns problem but it will make the menus, etc. look nicer.
