Change of user name.

How do I do that?

Tried several times to change it on my profile but, when I press enter, it just comes up with the message "Oops, somethings not quite right"

Do I need to get permission from someone high up?

My info, preferences, change username and save, should do the trick.

No, I was looking under my profile but, now you mention it, I can't find change user name under preferences?

Remember there are certain characters (like ' or " etc) that you can't use in a username; I tried for ages to get Mulligan&O'hare as my username, alas it wasn't possible due to the ' and I kept getting the message "oops, something's not right"

Congratulations, but that will be the cause of the problem, apostrophes are not allowed in usernames and cause the "Oops" error.

Plus there's no "change username" button or owt. He was saying, just change it, ie type it in the username box that has your current name in it.
