probs in safari - page loads then goes blank

Hi,

experiencing a problem that has appeared in the last 5 minutes or so -a forum page / thread loads, the content flashes up briefly, page continues loading according to address bar and then goes completely blank (white) when it has finished loading. Had to navigate here via quick usage of the stop button to stop the loading after the content had appeared. It could be something to do with an advert I guess but I can't tell because all I see is a white screen...

Same with Firefox. Mobile site is ok.

same here in opera. each time the page loads then goes blank and the status bar shoes trying to load an ad. currently ads.revsci.net
had to use my phone to access this thread as the comp immediately goes blank.
doesn't matter IE or opera.

ive also had a similar issue on Firefox, looks like its something to do with ads.revsci.net.

i seem to have cured it by blocking cookies from that address and using adblock to block anything else from similar addresses.

Only seems to happen on Pistonheads tho.

some dodgy scripting is to blame, if you have AdBlock, use it.

I had the same with Firefox - IE6, however, is OK.

IE8 is OK for me. Firefox is not, it stalls waiting for ads.revsci.net.

I blocked http://cdn.code.haymarket.com/injector/deliver/* in adblock and it now loads for me

Same here on Opera. Page loads for just a moment then blank page and status bar says "Loading Data from s0.2mdn.net" for a few seconds. Hit back and 9 out of 10 times the desired page displays.

Disabling Jave sorted it in Firefox. Unfortunately none of my other pages now work.

I'm getting a strange shaking, suffering anxiety attack and generally worried.

If on firefox, get this:

Then go and block:

js.revsci.net
yieldmanager.com

and away you go....

Im not sure how to fix IE.

I installed it, and now can't find anything to do with it apart fromn the box png on my desktop, which just tries to install it again.

awww. Don't fix the ads. I've been enjoying them not always loading an ad, speeds things up wonderfully. I considered saying something then thought...nahhh why cut of my nose.
