Don't often wander into motoring news but I've noticed you get quite a lot of threads that would belong in GG, but don't get moved, therefore, no help for the OP as there's no traffic in MN!

I also noticed a few in readers cars too, asking for help about a new purchase etc etc

so just a thought, but how about a 'hover over' bubble that appears over all the forums in the general gassing section.

I.e motoring news - 'find out what's happening inthe motoring world'
general gassing - 'introduce yourself and general automotive banter'
readers cars - 'show off your project here'
etc
etc

basically to give newbies a bit of information as to what the forums are, because, face it, gassing station is a confusing place if your not familiar!

The Motoring News forum was originally created because of the volume of off topic stuff that was going into General Gassing. That has since moved into the P&P forums so there's potentially an argument for pushing news stories back into General Gassing.

I see no harm in doing this, although how many people would read them I'm not sure. I'll make sure it is on the list of ideas so that we don't forget it!
