I've noticed that there are quite a few fans of the above that not only post in the "General Motorsport" forum, but also "Biker Banter", and I - personally - being a follower of all motorsport (but especially the two-wheeled variety) get a little frustrated as to i) where to view threads on bike racing and ii) where to start a topic on bike racing. Is there not an argument for a dedicated sub-forum for bike racing, as whenever there is a MotoGP race or WSB race weekend, there are discussions in both GM & BB?

An interesting question, and one which is definitely worthy of further thought.

I'll add it to the list of ideas and have a chat to the rest of the guys in the office to see what we think is best.

I would go with this! Can be a bit confusing as to which forum to go into.

If you can get this done before the first MotoGP race I will be impressed

BB is "generally" more informed than MS section in my opinion.

It always will be.

But as I said, there is much interest in bike racing in GM and many times I've seen more discussion on the subject there than in BB. I've been following bike racing for 20+ years and I like to think I have a reasonable knowledge of the sport, but there seems to be a somewhat disjointed link in where bike racing is discussed.

i suggested a bikesport sub forum in the motorsport sub section last year and it was instantly dismissed, if it happens i will be very impressed.

This would be great, I love GP and WSB but wouldn't pop into BB as I've always assumed that's more for people who ride

I use this place quite a lot.

Some of the banter gets a annoying occaisonally, but theres some knowledgeable folk on there, Moody and Ryder included.

youd be surprised how many people involved with racing on may levels (including 2 bsb riders) use biker banter.
