PH policy on unmarked police cars reg plates/photos

I enjoy spotting unmarked cars, call it a hobby ..

Further to posting a thread with picture(whilst parked, my I add)this thread was removed.

Looking at the Thames Valley section, there seems to mixed standards on reg plates.

Can you confirm what are the PH rules regarding this.

If it is to ban all reg plates(full or half) of unmarked cars, I think this should be up for debate.

The point is, you can have it both ways ... I have posted SCP vans in the past and these were not removed.

Seems to be some bizarre new policies or approaches.

Police vehicles (and photos and details thereof) on the road are public domain.

No reason why we should be showing them any fear or favour.
