Whilst I understand that adblock+firefox will get rid of the ad's, the ad's clearly make up a large part of Pistonheads/Haymarkets revenue (And in turn keep the site free), and as such I understand the need for them - but the audio ones are just annoying and alienating. I appreciate that text/graphical ad's are part of the site but see no need for the intrusive nature of these audio based ones...

I do not mind adverts, and I understand the need for them, but I do find the audio ads extremely annoying to the point where I do feel I need to block all ads. Seems rather self-defeating if that is what everyone is starting to do.

Just had one of these on a thread in the lounge. Not noticed them before, are they new?

If so, get rid of them before I get back to work on Monday. The last thing I need is adverts from this site being heard when I'm meant to be working.

unfortunately (as I posted on the other thread when I spotted them last night) I am completely powerless to do anything about these ads until the relevant people get back to the office on Monday.
