threading on mobile site?

Mine was doing this yesterday using Opera on a blackberry but today it seems fine. It was also sending me to the classified section every time I selected forum from the top nav (progress bar said mobile.pistonheads.com/gassing/ then suddenly changed to /sales/ for no reason). That also seems to have stopped today, will try again later.

Does it do it in the default Android browser?

Just tried it over WiFi - asked me to log in (which I am), and then gave me a PH error - "problem with content delivery. -1 Operation timed out after 4000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received"
Tried Opera again - whether using WiFi or Orange data I get these weird divided up pages - each PH page is split into shorter pages and I have to follow a link that takes me to the next part of the page. I can't believe it's Opera altering the code, surely the mobile site is sending itself out like that? I'm sure this cropped up a few months ago and the mobile site was the problem.

Have logged out/logged in using Android browser and everything seems to work as normal on the mobile site.
Opera is still doing the same thing as before - every page has "1/2 > >|" at the bottom, showing page 1 of 2, and icons to skip to next or to the end.
It did this once before a couple of months ago and I wasn't the only person to have the problem. I know it sounds like a problem at my end, or Opera's problem, but it looks to all intents and purposes as if the page is being served differently at your end.

My Blackberry has been doing that for a while on Opera (can't remember about the BB browser as I've not used it for ages). I just thought it was a new feature of the mobile site.The mobile site customises itself based on the handset you are using, but (if what I remember about Opera mobile is correct) when you are using Opera you actually connect to Opera's servers and get served a compressed version of the site (to speed up transfer and eke more out of limited data packages).
It seems that somewhere along the line this is causing confusion and you are ending up being served the version of the mobile site intended for old-school non-touchscreen 2G phones with tiny screens.
Buried somewhere in the settings, is there an "Opera Turbo" setting which you can switch off?
