Your guess was it to do with them being virtual servers and I think the clock cycles in the virtual environment have a massive issue if they can't access the core server cycles of the underlying server...

But I looked into that and the virtual servers do not have more cores than the underlying server so they will always have a full core to access and do not share them.

So still confused by it all and investigating.
