a bit of classifieds housekeeping?

Without wishing to give the impression I've nothing better to do other than bleating on about the classifieds tonight (well, I don't, the OH has Alien Vs Predator Requiem on which is shee height)...

Is there any chance of adding a few more model subsections in the classifieds at some point? It's not that I'm after listing something that's not displayed, but there's a few of the 'other models' sections that have got a few hundred listing, with many of the same model. which buries some of the more unique gems [that I'm looking for ]. -

For example

Chevrolet - http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/list.asp?s=459 is pretty much brimmed with kalios/captiva/matiz/lacetti Daewoo cast-offs. Maybe even just a section for American Chevys to split them from the other stuff?

Dodge - maybe sections for the Nitro, Caliber?

Ford - Loads of ads just for transits, fusions and kugas in other stuff

Mazda - 3, 6 yadda yadda

Renault - perhaps just rename it 'the car people'

Toyota too.

Appreciate you probably don't want eleventy million model names listed and the subsequent legal action that'd follow from VW fans for excessive scroll wheel wear, but a few more would make it much better I reckon.

I agree with the above some makes you have every different model ie bmw 3 series has 6 different sections by year but the vauxhall astra has 2500 cars all in the same section. made it a nightmare when i was trying to sell my astra GSI with only 1500 of them being made. it was in the section with all the other lesser models

I'll have a look and do a little tidy up this afternoon, but we do have to strike a balance between too many cars in a category and too many categories on the homepage. Don't forget that you can always use the "Filter" tab to cut down the results within a category and save scrolling past things you aren't interested in.

I did consider having "Other Models" and "Re-badged Daewoos" but thought this was a better option!
