The Lounge becoming a soft porn forum?

Like most males on PH I enjoy seeing good looking women and admit to following the Grid Girls topics but I have noticed lately that The Lounge is becoming a place where our members like to post soft porn. The following threads for example:
Finest ladies in frocks pictures
People you really SHOULD fancy, but DON'T
People you fancy but know you shouldn't!
There's a fairly equal mix of pictures following the thread theme and pictures that are aimed purely at showing exposed flesh with no relevance to the intent of the thread. It's apparent that many contributors use these threads to test the tolerance of the hard working PH mods. Has something changed? Has the PH demographic shifted towards schoolboys
I believe PH would be a better place if these childish contributers were 'educated' about PH. There's plenty of forums out there for them to post this stuff in, why allow them to lower the standards of PH.

It's in the lounge. If you don't want to look at it, then don't.
But food, watches and TV are not things we commonly associate with perversion. I know that I can decide not to look, that's not the point though. Garlick posted the 'PistonHeads - Racist and offensive posts' sticky in The Lounge for good reason. I actually like the thought on that went into that thread that women don't have to have it all on show to look attractive although I must admit it does have a few from posters who don't seem to have understood that.

Well that's one I've not been called before; I enjoy looking just like the next guy. The issue here is that threads are being taken over by children who can't think further than their next sexual fantasy.PH is an on line magazine like What Car or Performance Car. There's a new influence taking root, Max Power magazine, you know, the one that has pictures of oil smeared women holding suspension parts and tyres.

What works about the lounge? It keeps the car sections about cars and they don't suffer from off topic posts as a result.
PH is a car site editorially, but look on the forums today. The bigger forums also include photography, cycling and food as well as the motoring content and so our reach is wider that just cars on that section of the site.
If you see problem threads, please report in the usual way and the mods will deal as appropriate, but the lounge does a good job of keeping the other areas free of rubbish and when the lines are crossed action is taken.
As a result of your observation however, we'll make sure we take a more regular look at what is posted, so that the forum mod can deal with any issues taking place.
