I know asking for input on changes to the site is fraught with danger, but is there anyway that you could foresee something like a polling day type affair? I think something happened like this in Boats Planes and Trains?

There's a thread running in GG about the prevalence of "What car" threads and the idea of a subforum for them. The idea has pros and cons, however a simple poll with yes/no might go some way to involving the punters, letting them vent spleen and then laying it to rest, abiding by the decisions made.

I don't mean one for each and every change, or for the wholesale site change last year (that would haven't resolved anything), but for select "yes/no" issues that rear their heads endlessly.

I know I'd suggested a "Books/Culture/Theatre" section previously, and while I know you've loads on your collective plate, some people might think it a yet another sub forum too far.

I think I'm answering my own question here...
