Classified suspected email problem

Hi guys

Anybody else experiencing this same problem.

I've been contacting a few people about there cars via the email function on the adverts. I've had no replies, I've probably contacted 20 plus sellers and not one replied over a 2-3 day period which I found strange. So I tested my own advert and send a test message to myself and not received the mails, I've check my junk, nothing there. I've created a new account with a new email and the same thing happens. I've tested communication between the email accounts and everything is fine.

Does pistonheads have an email problem ?

You had managed to trip our anti-spam systems by sending too many emails from too many email addresses.

I've cleared the block that it put in place, but please moderate your usage (especially over the next couple of days while it cools off) to prevent this happening again.

Is it my IP or email addresses being blocked?

Still nothing.

Sounds like no one can contact my adverts and I cannot contact anyone else, no matter whick email or ip I send from. I have acess to 3-4 ip's, work, home, and a couple of others, all fail sendin mails.

I've put up another post on another forum to see if anyone else is experiencing problems.

Other people can still contact your adverts, you are just blocked from sending emails because of the large number you sent from several different email addresses.

Because you have used so many different email addresses, it is very hard for me to track down all the blocks and remove them, but I will email you tomorrow when we are back in the office and get it sorted.
