Want to contribute to Lounge topic but can't

Hi, have just joined and want to contribute to a specific topic in the lounge but can't as I am a new member.

Absolutely understand the rationale and agree with it, but wanted to ask for dispensation as another member has concerns about a medical condition his daughter has (Prolactinoma), and as a sufferer of the same condition I felt I could offer some words of comfort/support/advice.

Welcome to PH. The rules for the lounge, I will never understand. I hope they make an exception for you since they do for some people. If not, I have posted in that thread, notifying the OP of this thread and I hope you two can communicate about this issue.
