Can we ban people from the thread if they don't post descriptions?

I browse it on my iPhone and the amount of times I've clicked a link, let it load up and then realised it's the same video as was posted 5 minutes ago because people refuse to write a short description

I'm not asking for War and Peace just a small indicator so I don't have to watch that bird being hit in the face with a Watermelon 20 times

agreed.. we also need to ban people who link to youtube videos in music threads (favorite happy/sad/driving/shaggin song) etc without giving the title!

Why can't we do the same in the forum. Would save a lot of pissed off folk and would give everyone an image of what they're about to see. Everyother forum software I've seen / used easliy embeds the link for Youtube.

It's theoretically possible, and is on the to do list, but at the moment we don't have the spare dev time add it to the parser.
