Disappearing posts

Hello,

Last night I posted on the thread:

Admittedly I responded to a slightly obvious troll, but I would like to think I responded with a balanced view and countered each of the points logically. Also in my post was a contact (Name & Praise?) at A-plan insurance to assist with the original question, as well as a response to the question about the car.

But it got deleted, and I wondered why and by whom? I have seen less relevant posts in other threads remain, so wonder why I and the new member/troll (F1ynn) were removed - after all this is a discussion forum isn't it?

I understand why certain points should not be made and why certain things should not be posted, but I am truly at a loss as to why my content was removed,

Hopefully someone can give me some feedback - even if it's a re-clarification of a rule I have misunderstood

Hi, well from what I can see your post was deleted not for content but it quoted a "deleted post" from a member who was trolling and subsequently banned.

So your post had to be deleted as it was out of context.

No rules broken with your post.
