How do I subscribe to a thread - by email

As the above title - I've not subscribed (by email) to one of my threads and I'd like to be able to - can I do this?

Click the "Watch" button next to the bookmark link. It's got the binoculars next to it (in the Big Blue theme at least.)

Which thread is it? There aren't any buttons to do it, but I might be able to do it manually from this end.

Ahem (whispers), it's my Ambiwlans thread that I accidentally unsubscribed from....

I've checked and you should still be getting emails whenever that thread is replied to, are they ending up in your spam folder?

While we're on the subject, why do you only get the option to subscribe via email if you start the topic (or are the first to post on a news article)?

The code for sending emails to anyone except the OP has never been written, so although it is on the (ever growing) to-do list, it is not a trivial matter.

One of the reasons that it isn't a priority is the fact that we have a "My Stuff" page, which does pretty much the same job but (IMHO) better. I miss it so much whenever I'm on another forum.
