HSV & Monaro forum

Why is it called the HSV & Monaro forum?
Could it be renamed to just HSV as the Monaro is a Holden anyway and it seems a bit silly?

ETA. the vxr8 is also made on australia, it's based on a Holden commodore, their equivalent of a vectra, it's then tuned by Holden special vehicles (HSV) and becomes the HSV Clubsport R8

they're badged in the UK as Vauxhall not Holden though

They're built in australia by holden and they stick a vauxhall badge on it.
It's still a holden.

The Monaro CV8 is a Holden, the VXR is an HSV, as is the VXR8... so the forum name makes sense as it includes both
