Boob jobs and bras

Given that PH is predominantly a forum frequented by men, how is it that there seem to be rather a lot of adverts for boob job discounts and M&S bras on here recently?

I know we all like looking at ladies in lingerie but the advertisers should surely consider the forum demographic before placing an ad?

The advertising is targeted. Things like google track what you are looking at on the net and then deliver targeted advertising in banners on these subjects.

Basically you have just told us that you look at ladies underwear websites alot and you are thinking of cosmetic surgery of some sort !

Funnily enough I've never seen targeted advertising here on PH - I have seen it elsewhere when browsing at work and sites have adverts for competitors products etc. for which, I've previously searched.

However, I've never searched for boob jobs or lingerie at work....... Does it make the connection between here and my home PC ??

I discovered this a few months ago, in my case they were bombarding me with adverts for Hi-Fi centre speakers, camera bags and some lenses and various watches.

The lounge alone would put Boobs & Bra's at the top of the list, couple that with the "I shop at X posh supermarket" and bang, we get adverts for M&S Boobs
