Transferring Login

Morning

I use my iPhone to browse PH, usually in boring lectures!

I copied and pasted a link and sent it to a friend via MMS to his iPhone. He clicked the link and was still logged in as me!

Not bothered by it, he hasn't started any dodgy topics (that I'm aware of anyway). Just thought it was strange and worth looking in to.

He wasn't logged in as you (unless you have logged in on his phone at some point in the past). What I think has happened is that he has just been shown your version of the page. Were you both on the same University network at the time?

Nope, I was at home on wifi and him 60 miles away. I don't know if he could actually use my login, sounds unlikely.

Very odd, I'm pretty certain that it was just him seeing your version of the page but if it happens again then please let me know.
