My proposition.

i believe that the forum could be improved by adding a like and dislike feature. or thumbs up or thumbs down after each comment. (like youtube or facebook)

you can have this idea for free. however id like recognition for this genius idea. nothing fancy, just a massive banner which appears at the pistonheads homepage with music and fireworks and people dancing and having a merry old time ....

It was tried a long time ago (before facebook or youtube existed!) and was found to be a bit of a failure as people just tended to up-vote their mates and it promoted cliquishness. So when Ted received his first negative vote he decided enough was enough and scrapped the system.

Not sure why we need to try and fix something that isn't broken, if you read a thread that you have an opinion on why not just add to it instead of just clicking the like or dislike button which, I think seems a bit lazy.

Yep.

The age old saying, which many of us don't listen to.. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Or "borke" but I'm sure this is a speeling mistak.
