Interesting thread closing in photo forum

I post a classified ad in the PH classifieds.

I then tell the good folk on the photo forum that my Leica is for sale in the classifieds.

I promptly have thread closed.

But a thread 'asking where is the best place to sell this lens and that lens for about £1k' is fine and dandy??

No it's not fine and Dandy that has been deleted, but thanks for bringing it to out attention we as can't possibly keep up to date with all threads posted on all the forums.

Regarding your thread I would assume that it was deleted for the following reason.

The rule of posting no. 8 clearly states that you will not...

"Post links to websites or adverts for commercial or personal gain. All advertising on PistonHeads must be through the normal channels."

So if your thread fell into that category then that's the reason for it's deletion.

You've been here 89 months and in that time you have failed to comprehend that advertising threads aren't allowed?!
