I'm not that great with 'puters, but I did a Virus scan and nothing came up.

Now you need to download Malawarebytes to get rid of that malware. Rergular anti virus scanners may not deal with it

It's your PC by the looks of things, reboot in safemode and run malwarebytes.

Be very careful of googling for an application to clean a specific threat - you will most likely get hits for websites specifically seeded by the malware writers themselves that have been carefully crafted with SEO techniques to get high up on the google rankings.

Hi,
I had this aswell today when I tried to log on. Thought it was going to lock the computer like the "system tools 2011" did the other night to another family laptop. This one required a complete format to get rid off. A right PITA.

This happened on my parent's PC two days ago. It's a pretty fresh install and MalwareBytes didn't come up with *anything*.

It looked to me like a spoof site. Once Windows was logged off and on, it's not been back. I was working on the principle that Mum had clicked some rogue link somewhere.

just d the same, was in the lambo....forum and also had facebook in another tab. looked to be an advert image with something in it, but now cant find it.....!

Just had it happen to me, I would have been somewhere around My Stuff, SP&L, NP&E, and my own website (in my profile) nothing else open

I had this too about an hour ago, only ph was open on my explorer.

I closed ie too quickly to notice thread/ads etc.
