Virus warning

When reading a thread in the lounge (not sure which one, had a few open in tabs) my Virus scanner popped up to say it had blocked a virus coming from an advert on the page.

Here is the screen shot:

Meant to use the 'Stop' icon not the '18' one for the thread but clicked wrong radio button. Can't change it now.

It isn't a virus.
It's a tracking cookie, so the advertising gods can see where you go and advertise related products.

It won't do you any harm/ damage.

Might be worth while getting a copy of ccleaner and cleaning your system of all your old internet temp files/ cookies etc.

Sorry for not replying yesterday, I passed this on to our ads team as soon as you posted it and they have now confirmed that a seek and destroy order has been issued to the company that supplies out adverts to make sure that if there way something there, it isn't any more.
