Is the forum software up to the task of not censoring the commonly used (and correct) word for a female dog in the All Creatures area, yet leaving it in place for the more sensitive types elswhere?
Our forum software is bespoke, so it is theoretically possible. The problem is that we have very limited development time available and (considering it would not be the simplest of tasks) that time is probably better used on other things.
