Just wondering why the Bank Rant thread got closed? Half a dozen similar rants on different subjects get posted every day with no closures, and I thought this one was rather good (and pretty accurate).

That exact subject has been done many times before, but with a lot more eloquence and far less utterly unrelated banker-bashing.

I kind of see your point, but hasn't every single thread on PistonHeads been done before? We might as well shut down every "what to look for when buying an MX-5" or "What first car" thread!

I rather liked the ire of the poster, I remember feeling similar when both branches of Barclays in Bromley had knocked off early on a Friday afternoon for no good reason.

The bank in question did not close early though.

That entire rant was due to the bank closing exactly when it stated it would.

Ooh, the swine.

The misogyny was pretty distasteful too.

Fair enough, it's not my fight anyway - I was just curious as threads more banal/distasteful IMHO are often left to run.
