Expired adverts in classifieds

I'd expect expired ads to disappear, as they've expired.
Clearly when they've sold via PH it's a good advert but expired demonstrates the ad didn't work.

They disappear from the listings once they expire, but are still visible via the direct link for another 30 days. This is to make it obvious what has happened to anyone who might have bookmarked the advert and to allow the seller time to relist it should they want to. It also means that if an advert is posted somewhere such as the forums, it is less likely to disappear while discussion of it is still happening.
