Advertising query, please clarify.

Hi

I have had some photo's taken of my car by another PH'er who is just starting out trying to build a portfolio. I said to him that he should put on PH, not me and he might get some positive reaction.

Then it crossed my mind, would this be classed as advertising?

I often see on various forums, people praising and naming good service, detailing, photo's etc they have received.

I don't want this guy to fall foul of the terms and conditions.

Asking for feedback on his photos would be fine, but posting them as a "look what I did, let me know if you want me to do it for you" post would be seen as advertising.

It's a fine line, but I hope the difference is clear enough.
