it was the thread itself that was not working but all other threads were happy... think its working now, but not sure as to the base issue.

I tired to open it half a dozen times over the course of 30 mins and go the same message everytime

In that case, I think it's just the site showing it's TVR roots. There is a known bug where for some (unknown) reason, the site will fall out with a certain user and refuse to allow them in to a certain page (can be a thread, can be a forum page) for about half an hour.

After the half hour, it forgives them and it all goes back to normal.
