I recently received a THREE month ban from the lounge for using a phrase to describe people who like to live in a caravan, I noticed in a thread about a cat being shot some else has used almost the exact same phrase without so much as being edited by a mod???

Should there not be some parity in modding, either he should be banned as well or my ban should be lifted please find pasted below the post i refer to;

I've just had a thread deleted, yet another thread of the exact same nature was allowed to run, am I annoyed and upset? No not really, the Mods can't spot everything that is said everywhere, mine was spotted, another guys wasn't those are the breaks

I've heard the Mods like to trade with people to have bans lifted.

Were you to offer, say, a caravan in Blue for the Ma, and a couple of dags, you'd probably get let back in.

I gave you a 90 day ban, but it was because you used the word ct to describe travellers.

I forget the exact expression that you chose after this, but it was pretty offensive and would likely have resulted in the same thing had you appended it to almost any other "slang expression to describe a minority group."

As it was, you used it after it had been made rather clear (or so I thought) that such language wasn't welcomed on PH.

I used the same phrase as mentioned which if you take the 1st letter of each word does spell , i am not saying that i was in the right, i am questioning why the post i quoted has not even been edited and i get a long ban???

In the same way as you use ct are we allowed to use py?

Please don't get me wrong i am not trying to get this chap a ban, i just think mine should perhaps be lifted as i think three months was a bit strong.
