PH tried to infect my pc?

Sorry for the scaremongering title

Now, i've no idea if it was PH or something else, but the only site i was browsing at the time was PH. Whilst i was reading a thread this popped up:



I closed the box (with the x), and then a webpage pretending to look like the "My Computer" window opened, purporting to install some AV software.

I closed IE and left Sophos doing its thing to be on te safe side.

So, i'm not saying it definitely came from PH or if it magicked itself out of nowhere, but thought you might like to know!

It's coming in via the adverts, if anyone else sees it I'd suggest using the task manager or Alt+F4 to close it and then add your report to the list on this thread: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
