Report function - is it working?

I've reported a really unfair and inaccurate trolling post but, as yet after a day or two, the post remains and I've had no feedback about it (whether I should expect any I don't know?!).

Can a moderator help me out and point me in the right direction if I'm getting something wrong please?

The report function is working.
I can see your report has come through.
Unfortunately there is no facility within the report function to feedback to the reporter.
