IP address of PH / Forum?

Am I correct in thinking one can still access and use the forum by entering an IP address in the Edge/Safari (etc.) search/address bar?

i.e if DNS falls over, direct access is possible?

If so, what is (are) the IP address(es)?

You can find the IP addresses for any domain with a tool like this one: https://dns-lookup.com/pistonheads.com

If I recall correctly, the "A" records are the IP addresses for the domain, the MX are for mail servers.

If any of those IP addresses are hosting more than one domain, it'll be down to server configuration to decide which one you see when you access them in that way.

You can’t in this instance as PH is using the AWS CDN.

You wouldn’t want to for a variety of reasons anyway and if AWS DNS fails then lots of other stuff will likely fail.
