Thread banning

Morning Guys, when banning posters from threads would it be possible to add a note in the thread to that effect so other people on the thread are made aware ?
Reason being when people disappear in the middle of a discussion, others may keep asking them questions etc and it appears they are being ignored because they are unaware the other poster has actually been banned from the thread.
Not disputing any bans by the way, but when there are edits / deletions etc some kind of reference / moderator comment or even any audit trail at all would certainly make threads easier to follow.

I think the mods should do a weekly summary on a Sunday of everyone who has been banned that week, who banned them, how long for, and why, gives us something to argue about on a Sunday evening.

I'm really only on here and a few marque/model specific forums which are altogether more serious, so my experience is limited, but is mods wading in (incognito on here, I note), reporting and banning common on forums?The Spruce Goose said:

Yeh I saw that and thought it was a brilliant move by that Mod. Personally I'd have no objection whatsoever to have my report history published V my accusers. Some very interesting 'patterns' would emerge i'm sure.
in the case the mod posted it was clear the poster was saying he was the victim, whilst reporting all he disagreed with, basically playing the system.The mods on here are not incognito. Somewhere on this forum there was a full,list of the moderators posted up, wasn’t that long ago. I am sure you’ll find it if you search.
