Smifffymoto here but for some reason I have been logged in as concerned parent and posted as such this morning.
As far as I know I have only one account.

I had that account for 250 odd months and nearly 3000 posts.

I got asked to log in this morning - using my e-mail address instead of my user name (for the first time).

As I only have one e-mail address it wasn't a problem but maybe you had a different e-mail address linked to your smiffymoto account?

Or the hamsters have nibbled at some of the links...

I am surprised PH don't seem to have sent an email to all members about the forum login changes.

Can't help but wonder how many members just won't have seen the threads on here.

You need to log in with your live.co.uk email address for the smifffymoto account.

Fantastic,that email is a long defunct email used by Mrs S. and I have no way of getting the password.

They did, on 12 September 2025 (along with the same details in a post in the Website Feedback forum).
