Access denied problem

Switching over to my used reconditioned Apple Laptop I find I am unable to access the forums. Tried new passwords to no avail, still access denied. I am using my old barely alive Apple ipad to get this message across, no access issues with this.

Can you provide some more information on the issue you're experiencing please? Can you provide a screenshot of the error you're seeing and at what point?

I’m worse than useless using any tech now days. See if my son can help resolve. Again I’m using my old ipad atm Seems something is amiss in my new reconditioned Apple laptop which I purchased online from a large retailer outfit.

I've almost given up. I'm locked out of my old account.
