Ted,

as much as I appreciate the recommendation of a free picture hosting provider on the My Car page of the profiles, the current candidate www.webshots.com does not allow linking to individual pictures but will always display pics in the context of the webshots page (to push their advertising) and is thus useless for hosting pics to link to from my profile.

I have to admit though that I haven't invested the time to suggest a suitable alternative...

uncledave.co.uk
photobucket.com
tinypic.com
photos.fotango.com

I use photobucket.com never had a problem. Use tinypic.com if I can't be arsed as its slightly quicker.

Putfile.com is great for pictures and you get a wee homepage too

Photobucket is ok, but has a tendancey to resize my pictures a little too liberally, even when size is lower than 1mb!!!!!!!!!

4shared is a great site for files with 500mb of free storage and I dont think theres a limit to individual uploads (obviously under 500mb )

T'is free too

Photobucket here . . . some sites tend to destroy quality . . . a 1mb jpg file is big enough for webpublishing and a5 printing.

The photostrip option is quality.
