Cookies?

Hust thought i'd point this one out to you Ted. The other day when I went to the shop to buy that fleece, I was in a 'member-PetrolTed', thought it was just a mistake but it had me logged into the site as PetrolTed today as well! I've also had to login a couple of times from my computer! I hae cookies turned on, it's wierd! Is this at my end or yours??

Ooooh not so good. Not sure what's going on - my cookies have gone to pot! I'm rummaging now...

Ah... red herring. I updated the shop to the latest style and accidentally hard coded the user name in the top right hand corner! doh!

Any ideas on the repetetive login?? Surely the cookie should store all that?! Just had login to post this!!

Dunno what's going on. Expiry dates are being set as next year but they're disappearing within 24 hours...

hmm. Just checked the cookie on my machine and, just as you said, it set to expire dec 2002! What are you using to edit/create the cookies and i'll have a gander, see if i can spot anything wrong! 2 minds and all that!

I've had this a couple of times over the past week, whenever I connected I wasn't logged on at all - it seems ok now.

Oh yeah, and it logged me on as some female a few times too.....

Still getting problems with this. Most times when I boot up and open the Gassing Station I need to login - the prob this causes is that when I then link back to the Gassing Station it tells me my prev login was current time minus a minute or so - then the 'whats new' link shows nothing .

Also sometimes when I've logged in and am part way through the new replies I go to reply and I'm logged out again.

Is this the same issue with the cookies or is it something my end?
