Starting new volumes?

So why does this happen?

Is there a maximum post limit per thread?

Who decides when this new volume is coming?

Why does it seem it's never the OP who starts the new thread but another user?

I don't think it's relevant anymore, after a recent coding update, doing away with thread limits.

There used to be a limit of 500 pages per thread on the servers I think. The next volume is started my a mod.

But the page limit seems to have been relaxed now.
