Cannot "go to new posts"

Been struggling with this for a while and tried disabling all browser tracking JIC it was on my side but i regularly cannot go to the last post in a thread from the thread index and am often dropped into the first page when i go into a conversation rather than picking up where i left off.

I cannot find any other posts on this so it...just me?

Not just you, I have the same issue.
There was a fairly recent post about this but I can't seem to find it. It didn't have any solution though .

So it seems to have improved lately but noticed the occasional hit 'n miss at times.

It’s getting worse (at least for me), I’d say half of threads don’t jump to the first unread post and either open page 1 or the top of the most recent page.

Is this a forum wide problem or related to an individual’s browser or platform used?

Anyone know?

No problem for me. I am set to latest post at top, but also goes to last read if that applies.

I’m on iPad but will give DuckDuckGo browser a go.
