What ever happened to the excellent search engine where you could search by forum category and it highlighted your search terms? Not a fan of the google search

The search function kept breaking the forum, so it was turned off.

Go to google.

in the search box type in your words, if it's a phrase put them between speech marks "..............." and add Pistonheads onto the end.

Eg.

If you just type in a very general word + pistonheads you will get a lot of results, but you can use the google search tools to specify when it was posted, including a custom range.

But as always if you are more specific with your search criteria you will get better results.

Excellent post. Even better, use site:pistonheads.com and google will only search within the PH domain. smile

If you know which forum it's in it's useful to add the f number.

E.g. if you're looking for something in website feedback include f=24
i.e.
site:www.pistonheads.com +f=24 search

Which happily takes you here: click. wink
